The Context: Launching a New Channel from Scratch

Energea Global is an energy infrastructure investment platform that lets everyday investors participate in solar, wind, and clean energy projects. They had a successful retail business — but were launching a new wealth management channel to reach RIAs, broker-dealers, pension funds, and institutional investors.

The problem? They had zero outbound infrastructure. No systems. No playbooks. No way to reach these audiences at scale.

Here's why they reached out to Corebits:

  • No existing outbound system. They needed cold outbound infrastructure built from scratch — email, LinkedIn, website visitor tracking, CRM integration.

Our plan was to build a complete outbound engine from scratch — not one playbook, but eight. Each targeting a different investor segment with different messaging, different channels, and different compliance considerations.

What Slowed Results (And How We Fixed It)

Every project hits speed bumps. Here's what we encountered and how we resolved it:

Why It Worked

Building a complete outbound infrastructure from scratch in 6 months is rare. Here's why this project succeeded:

  • Client involvement was exceptional. Chris personally reviewed every workflow, sample copy, ICP classification logic, and sender assignment rule. Unlike typical agency relationships, he was in the details — which meant zero major pivots and high confidence in quality.

  • AI needs guardrails. The Brighton Securities bankruptcy post and the owner title issues taught us that AI can't just pull content blindly. Sentiment analysis, context verification, and spot-check mechanisms are essential.

  • IPS automation was the breakthrough. Reading investment policy documents and generating personalized pitches is 10x more compelling than generic outreach. This is the kind of personalization that actually gets replies.
